Churn signal
Definition
A churn signal is an observable behaviour that predicts a customer is likely to leave, before they say so.
Individually the signals are unremarkable: two support tickets, a late invoice, a champion who stopped attending calls. Together they are a pattern. Reading them together requires the records to be in one place, which is why churn prediction bolted onto a CRM alone tends to disappoint.
