Partnerships

The best companies we will ever work with are being built right now.

We partner with universities, accelerators, incubators and startup programmes. Not as a logo exchange: with the platform itself, with prizes for your competitions, and with our own people running workshops, hackathons and demos alongside yours.

What we actually bring.

The platform, for your cohort

Version X for the companies in your programme, so they are not running a business on five free trials and a spreadsheet while they are trying to build something.

Prizes worth winning

Three, six or twelve months of Version X as a competition prize, awarded through your pitch event, demo day or hackathon. The tier depends on the event rather than a fixed rule.

Workshops and hackathons

We run sessions with your people: building on the platform, designing AI agents, or the operational side of running a company that founders usually learn the expensive way.

Demos and guest sessions

A walkthrough on a fully seeded company, live, with the people who built it. Useful for a class, a cohort kickoff or a mentor session, and considerably more interesting than slides.

Deliberately not exhaustive, and deliberately not a rate card. What a partnership looks like depends on the size of your cohort, when your events fall and what your people actually need, so the specifics belong in the agreement once we are talking rather than on a public page.

Start the conversation.

Tell us what you run and roughly how many companies go through it. We will come back with something specific to your programme rather than a brochure, usually within two working days.

Or write directly: partners@versionx.co

Tell us about your programme

Five fields. We will come back with what we can offer your cohort specifically rather than a brochure.

We reply within two working days.

Questions.

Who does Version X partner with?

Universities and colleges, accelerators, incubators, startup programmes and founder communities. If you bring together people who are building companies, there is probably something here worth a conversation.

What does a partnership cost?

Nothing. Partnerships are not a revenue line for us: they put the platform in front of companies at the point where consolidating their tools is still easy, which is worth more to us than a fee.

What are the specifics?

They vary by programme, which is why they live in the partner agreement rather than on this page. Cohort size, event dates and what your people actually need all change the shape of it, so we would rather talk first and write it down second.

We run a one-off event rather than a programme. Still relevant?

Yes. A hackathon, a pitch night or a single guest session is a perfectly good place to start, and several of our longer partnerships began as one event.
